Taxes, fees and gratuities
Florida state sales tax rate is 7.5% of the per-person ticket price.
Santa Rosa Island Authority (SRIA) fees (local sales tax) are 3% of ticket price.
Because of an oddity of Florida tax law, state sales tax is charged on per-person
ticket sales, but not on whole-boat charters. Only the 3% SRIA Fee applies
to charters.
Additionally, our booking agent (Pensacola Beach Marina) charges a 3% processing
fee for all transactions paid by credit card, so you can save a little money by
paying cash.
Gratuities are, of course, optional, but 10% - 20% of your fare is suggested.
