Pensacola Sailing Tours is an ASA Certified sailing school.
 Most sailing schools make you learn on their schedule, not yours.  At Pensacola Sailing Tours you don't have to wait for a scheduled class date to learn to sail--just call and make a reservation! We offer flexible options that let you take classes on consecutive days, or spread them across a period of a few weeks, all for the same low price. And because your sailing lessons are dedicated to just you, there is no need to worry about a class being cancelled because of too few students.

You receive personal attention from our experienced instructor in on-the-boat lessons.  Even our "classroom" sessions are held on-board to accelerate the learning process.

Class days are about 8 hours, with at-the-dock instruction in the morning, and on-the-water instruction in the afternoon.  If you would like half-day instead of full-day classes, please check with us for scheduling.

Prerequisites:

  • For Standard Basic Keelboat Sailing, the only prerequisite is that you read the class materials before coming to class.  Standard classes are recommended for most students.

  • For the Accelerated classes, it is expected that you are already an experienced sailor familiar with nautical terminology and can handle a sailboat by yourself.  Accelerated classes are for those who want to "fill in the gaps" in their knowledge in a methodical fashion.  They are not for beginners.

What is included:

  • Rates include course materials, certification fees, instruction, daily boat charter, fuel, dockage--in short, everything except sales tax and meals are included.

Deposit and Payment Information:

  • A non-refundable deposit of $150 per person is payable when the class is reserved.  Course materials will be mailed to you as soon as your deposit is received.

  • The balance is due when class begins.

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards.
