Blue Angels Air Show 2005

You will have an experienced, US Coast Guard (USCG) licensed captain for your trip.
Ask the competition about their licenses--most captains in the business are only OUPV or
six-pack certified. Our captain is a licensed Master Mariner with tens of thousands of
sea miles experience.

The Blue Angels, the US Navy and Marines precision flying team, perform an air show at Pensacola Beach every year around the 4th of July.  Here are some snapshots of the 2005 air show.

Note:  We do NOT run any sailing tours the day of the Blue Angels show.  We DO run tours the day before (the dress rehearsal) which is just as good but without the crowds.

Here is why we don't run any sailing tours on the day of the air show:  This is the view from our marina.
Hey everybody, it's Faaaaaaaat Albert!  Fat Albert is the C-130 which the Blue Angels use to carry their support equipment and personnel.
The Blue Angels make a low pass in the diamond formation.
All six FA-18's perform an echelon loop.

Capt. Jim and first mate Cathy enjoy the air show at Pensacola Beach.
